Performance of parasite QAP in Australia and New Zealand

In many laboratories, microscopy still remains the cornerstone of parasitological diagnostics and provides an epidemiological assessment parasite burden. High-quality diagnostic service includes participation in external quality assurance (EQA) scheme to help measure service. This presentation will review laboratories' performance liquid EQA programs offered by RCPAQAP. Results for different staining methods used overall be discussed. It also include a molecular program results movement some laboratories away from molecular-based techniques.
